On May 23, 2025, Kia India plans to launch the Carens Clavis, a new MPV that sits above the standard Carens. It will feature Level 2 ADAS, an enhanced tech package with a dual display, and a redesigned exterior modeled after the EV5. With three engine options and many gearbox choices, the Clavis will come in seven variations.

Having a 1.5-liter normally produced petrol engine, a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine, the new Kia Carens Clavis maintains the same powertrain combination as the regular Carens.
Six-speed manual, six-speed torque converter automatic, seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, and six-speed clutchless manual (iMT) are available transmission options.
